Creative Concurso

A graphic designing and art event where you can illustrate and draw ideas related to technology and science fiction.

Eligibility

• The competition is open to all the students belonging to the age group of 13 - 23. (If you fall below this age range, please, contact us. We will make arrangements, if possible.)

• Participants without any degree in Graphic Designing and Art are also allowed.

Notification

• Once you have registered for the event, we will send you a confirmation mail with a participation code.

• After we receive your submission, we will send you another email confirming that we have received your submission.

• Please, stay updated (through our social media handles) for more information and the declaration of results.

*If you do not receive any of the mails (within two days from the date of registration / submission) please contact us through our social media handles or call us on our respective numbers mentioned in the website.

Format

For Graphic Designers

• Graphic Designers are instructed to use either Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop or CorelDraw (if you are comfortable with some other software, please, let us know beforehand.)

• Use CMYK primary colour code.

• Page Dimensions (297mm x 210mm)

• Both Landscape and Portrait Orientation will be accepted.

• Resolution 300 dpi (Corel Users)

• Both vector and raster graphics will be accepted

For Artists

• Drawings (pastel colours), Sketches and Paintings (Oil paint/Acrylic colours/Watercolors) are accepted.

• You may use any paper/canvas with which you are comfortable.

• After completion, put your authentic and genuine signature on your drawing along with the participation code (in brackets). Your signature and participation code must be visible.

• The picture must be clear and your art should be in focus.

Procedure

For Graphic Designers

• We will release the topic through our social media handles on the date and time specified on our website.

• You will receive 48 hours to design your content.

• You need to mail us your submission after 48 hours.

• If it is digital content (for graphic designers) please send us the raw file of the project with a .JPEG/.PNG format of your content.

• In the mail, mention your participant code in the subject.

For Artists

• We will release the topic through our social media handles on the date and time specified in our website.

• You will receive 48 hours to draw your content.

• You need to mail us your submission after 48 hours of receiving the topic.

• You need to send two pictures :

  • 1st Picture : Drawing

  • 2nd Picture : Participant holding the drawing (for authentication)

Judging

Your content will be judged on the following criteria:

For Graphic Designers

• • Idea and Concept (40 Marks)

  • Relevance to the topic (25 Marks)

  • Uniqueness (10 Marks)

  • Format (15 Marks)

  • Colour Scheme and Overall Visual Appearance (10 Marks)

For Artists

• • Idea and Concept (40 Marks)

  • Relevance to the topic (25 Marks)

  • Uniqueness (10 Marks)

  • Neatness and Appeal (10 Marks)

  • Drawing and Colour (15 Marks)

The decision of the judge is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding his/her decision.

Copyright

The creator retains the copyright to his or her work and it is strictly forbidden to claim that piece for any personal use without the original creator's permission. Respect the integrity of the artist / graphic designer.

Perks

Free Registration

Certificate of Participation will be mailed to all the participants.

Cash Prize worth Rs 1000 for the champion and Rs 500 for the Runner Up (transferred digitally) along with certificates.

3 more participants will qualify for the Letter of Recommendation from the Judge.

The work of top 5 participants will be featured on our website (www.alphageeks.in) and promoted through our social media handles.

(Right to Allowance for feature on our website lies with the creator).

All participants will be allowed to join a community of innovators and creators.
